Dear lovely Animators,

Thanks for providing your fantastic artworks for Craft Animation Project(CAP).

This project selects and presents the animations approach by traditional and alternative forms.

17 animations from over 10 countries across far East Asia to Europe,

I believe arrange those animations in specific contexts and topics could bring more meaningful from art. As a result, I arranged them in 3 themes, all in 1 programme.

"Society Criticism"

"Search Self-Identity"

"Music Video"

Some of animations from Taiwan and Japan were the premiere screen in Europe,

It made an cultural impact from Asia art expression, music and thoughts which are far different to Western.

At the same time, I also would like to help Western animators to send their artworks to far East Asia's relative festivals. (Please do let me know)

To support student and independent animators by real space screening(rather than just online introduce) is an essential part of project.

It is a way to respect artworks.

Big screen provide an immersive experience is an irreplaceable value of it.

Your amazing arts inspired London audiences,

lots of them started to have interested in attending more animation events,

some people started to consider making stop motions,

some of them(photographer, film makers) want to cooperate with animators.

It is a fantastic experience for me, as I quit my job to implement this idea, I still have lots need to learn.

Please do express yourself freely how you think about this project,

how would you like to shown your artwork next time,

or you would like to share more information related to it,

any question just ask me!

My next step is going to France visiting some cinemas and arty venues,

learning French, wish I could have nice chat in film events.

also keep in touch with you, let me know how you doing,

any new animation coming out that you want to send them to Taiwan and Japan.

Just keep contact!

=)

Big Thank You again for creating the incredible animations.

Good night!

Coco
